The "What the hell have you been up to?" Topic

I know 775 was down for quite some time and even I stopped coming here for a while. Now that things are looking stable again, let's all update each other on what has been going on.

I have been running sound at a club called Tonic in town working with Brandon ever since Stoney's closed down. I have been staying pretty busy with that my new band "Dirt Communion" and occasionally doing some stuff with JMAX. I also still have my day job, so I sleep very little, but somehow have been able to keep it going. My life was in total upheval for about a year when I broke up with my last girlfriend. Things are really good now. I have a new super awesome girlfriend that happens to be nine years younger than me. Not bad for an old fart like myself LOL. The band is going well, and if any of you fine folks on here want to hook up for a show or two, let me know and we'll set it up. It has been a long time since I have seen most of you, so let's not be strangers!

So what is new with all of you???

We (HAF~DED) are just working away at some shit, perfecting a few things and working on new material. We haven't been playing much local but working on some out of town shit lately.

On a presonal Pete and I are busy taking care of our ranch and such at home. I just bought Pete and new motorcycle so he's been enjoying that while I work on getting mine back on the road. Other than that life stays pretty busy when you have 8 horses at home as well as kids and every other animal you can think of.

That's about it... not much else to report at the moment but that could change...

I've been working and raising the Kids as of late. OF course with Adapt gone I started my own side project (Prophecy of the Oracle - http://www.myspace.com/prophecyoftheoracle ) that has been hit and miss. Seems I never have time to record when kids are screaming and what not!!! LOL!!! I have about 6 songs ready to record so hopefully I can motor and those sometime soon. Hoping to either start or join a band early next year, but we will see. That's about it here!!!

For mnemonic there is a lot going on right now. We are working closely with our record label to open it here in the US and Canada in January (distribution through InGrooves / Fontana) with the first release being a band from overseas called intwine. Chris, Brian, and I have started a company called The Factory. Basically we are a full service design firm, recording studio (new location coming soon....), and record label. It's been very crazy lately but it's gotten to the point where i have left my job and are working the factory design firm full time. Please check out our site because we are doing a lot of album cover designs, myspace layouts, logo designs, magazine print ads for bands. If you know of anyone looking for this kind of stuff please point them my way.

Outside of that we are trying to squeeze out a new album so that we can start playing shows again with all new material. We are all chomping at the bit to do that. I'm glad to hear that there are still some bands that come to this site and check in with each other.

Good luck to everyone!

Let me throw my testimonial ya'lls way. Brian did some graphic work for will rock for food years ago and did a fantastic job. The dude knows his graphics, so definitely hit him up! Also, Chris has been recording our EP/Album and the stuff sounds fantastic. I'm excited for you guys and if there is anything I can do to help out, just say the word.
